Samuel was born in Rochester, NY and started playing keyboards at the age of five. Sam arranges and
writes music scores and in 1981 started Great Performance Studios. In 1985, Sam graduated from RIT (Rochester Institute of
Technology) with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and was a licensed DJ at RIT's radio station 89.7 WITR. In 1990,
Great Performance Studios expanded and added the computerized video suite to the recording studio. During 1991-93 he was the
keyboardist for the national sports party band NIK and the Nice Guys. The Down Stairs Cabaret has also seen his fingers tickle the
ivories during the production run of "Forever Plaid." As the staff grew in 1998, Sam began to master his skills in Photography
shooting weddings, family portraits and special occasion photos. Great Performance Studios has both audio and visual media and
is unlimited to its potential. In 2007 Sam became a Certified Legal Videographer for the New York State Courts and added
LegalCourtVideo.com to its video business.

Ken was born and resides in Rochester, NY. In 1989, Ken got his Associate Degree in
Applied Science from Monroe Community College in the field of visual communications -
photography and television. Worked on the stage crew of NIK and the Nice Guys from
1988 - 93 setting up of video equipment, stage equipment, PA system, lighting equipment
and stage gear. Also was the director of live shows which included the responsibilities of
Technical Director and VTR operator. In 1991, Ken joined the Northeastern Production
Systems crew for sound, lighting, and staging and continues to work with them. In
January of 1993, Ken started as a video camera operator with Great Performance Studios
and now heads one of the video teams at Great Performance Studios. Ken is also one of
the editors in the Great Performance Studios video suite.
Dennis joined Great Performance Studios in 1995. He has worked on our Wegmans,
Dance Recital and Wedding events. His videoraphy skillset captures the right
moments and add an extra flare to our video production. Dennis uses his video editing
knowledge and applies it to his video taping of events. This cuts our post production
time down and makes editing easier.
Joe
Joe joined Great Performance Studios in 1995. He has shot many weddings for us and
enjoys working as a camera operator. Joe is also an event coordinator and camera
operator for the graduation events. Joe is a full time family man, and hopes to grow and
gain more experiences in videography.
Ken
Our Great Performance Studios Staff
Tammy joined Great Performance Studios in 1998. She works as an assistant
videographer and assists with sales during special events and other videotaped
events/occasions. Her videotaping talents include weddings, graduations, plays and
dance recitals.
Tammy
Larry joined Great Performance Studios in 1998. He has worked as assistant
videographer for GPS events included weddings, plays, graduation, dance recitals
and more. He also assists with our photographer on wedding jobs. Larry's attention to
detail and his skills in photography and videography help build a strong production
team. Events include weddings, graduations, plays and dance recitals.
Larry
David joined Great Performance Studios in 1990. He has worked on many projects for
GPS including weddings, dance recitals, graduations, plays and Wegmans. Dave is
also a professional soundman who helps out on many of the on location audio events.
His knowledge on audio makes our on site events run smoothly.
